We kindly invite culture, art and cultural heritage professionals, operators, experts, project managers and artists from the Danube region to register for the International Danube Conference on Culture 2024 named
SHAPING CONFIDENCE BY CULTURE
The 11th Danube Culture Conference in Krems from 12 to 13 September 2024 will bring together creatives, experts and decision-makers from the entire Danube region to network the region's diverse cultural sector. The aim is to discuss open and accessible cultural work in the Danube region. Against this background, the motto of the conference is "SHAPING CONFIDENCE BY CULTURE". The conference will include around 100 participants, key speakers and cultural events.
The general aims of the Danube Culture Conferences are:
- to inspire cultural professionals and artists from the Danube region
- to promote partnerships and co-operation
- to provide practical examples and space for discussion around the conference themes
- to develop problem-solving thinking in the field of culture
The main themes of the 2024 conference were
- Investing in the future (sustainability)
- Culture & tourism for kids
- Resources for cultural work
The 11th Danube Conference for the 2023 Conference is organised by

- Government of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Serbia
- the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts Baden-Württemberg
- the European Danube Academy
- the Danube Cultural Cluster
Vanue and Language
KlosterUND, Undstraße 6, 3500 Krems an der Donau and external locations. The venue Krems an der Donau is the ideal location for the 11th Danube Culture Conference, as a strong context to the Danube and the UNESCO World Heritage Wachau can be established.
The working language of the Danube Culture Conference is English (translation into German will be privided).
