10th Danube Conference on Culture at the Museum of the Vojvodina in Novi Sad

The 10th Danube Culture Conference, held at the Museum of Vojvodina in Novi Sad from 23 to 25 April 2023, brought together creatives, experts and decision-makers from across the Danube Region to connect the diverse cultural sector of the region. The aim was to discuss open and accessible cultural work. Against this background, the motto of the conference was "CULTURE FOR ALL - The Danube as a Cultural Bridge". The conference was a great success with 130 participants, important speakers and cultural events.

After many years, the Danube Conference on Culture will take place again in Novi Sad in 2023. Please save the date 23-25 April 2023. The Danube Conference on Culture series was created to intensify the dialogue on cultural policy and to strengthen international networks of representatives of the cultural world. The main goal of the conferences is to consider the Danube Region as a unique but highly diverse cultural space and to provide a platform for exchange that creates new cooperations between artists, cultural institutions and the respective decision-makers. The conferences have become a well-known platform to present implemented and promising projects, to discuss cultural policy issues and to revive our region's chances for great cultural diversity through transnational cooperation.

The 9th International Danube Conference on Culture in Ulm will take place from 21-23 November 2021. The main objective of the annual forum is to look at the Danube region as a unique but extremely diverse cultural area and to offer a platform for exchange that creates new collaborations among artists, cultural institutions and decision-makers. The DCC conferences have become a well-known platform for presenting interesting projects, discussing cultural-political issues and promoting our region’s chances of great cultural diversity and creativity through transnational cooperation.
